When Torie and Troy asked me to document the day that their sweet family would become one, I was so so excited! I’ve known Torie and her daughter Trinity for a few years and knew that capturing not only the wedding, but their closeness and mother/ daughter bond would be special and so fun to be able to do.
Blue Hill is a quaint coastal town in Downeast Maine, filled with blueberry barons and is home to the popular “Blue Hill Fair”. If you’ve never taken a day trip to this peaceful little town, I highly recommend adding it to your 2018 summer day trip list.
They said “I do” at the coolest venue, the Peninsula Metamorphic Art Center which doubles as an art studio when it’s not being used as a dance floor! It’s a tiny space, but the perfect size for an intimate wedding like theirs was! I LOVE the bright red exterior and their simply and creative decor inside and out.
I also need to shout out to Moe’s BBQ Bangor for providing DELICIOUS food and being super friendly and fun to chat with- as a photographer who meets a lot of people in a wedding day, meeting kind and thoughtful vendors and guests along the way always stays with me.
Congratulations, Torie & Troy! I wish you all the joy you felt on your wedding day to fill you throughout your marriage!
